Munich Center for Neuroscience

The ultimate goal of the “Munich Center for Neurosciences – Brain and Mind” is to create a network bringing together all groups and disciplines with interests related to questions of neurobiology, cognition, and “brain and mind”. All fields of research bearing on questions of brain and mind will be integrated: most obviously philosophy and experimental neurosciences, but also theoretical neurosciences such as computational neuroscience, and psychology.

Moreover, the Center will create a platform for interdisciplinary interactions, an integrated teaching program (MSc. programs, Graduate School), the coordination of joint research programs (SFBs etc.), and the hiring activities within the various faculties.

Under the guidance of the Munich Center for Neurosciences - Brain and Mind
the newly founded Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences is currently offering a challenging integrated training program for students interested in a Master (MSc. ) Neurosciences and/or a PhD research training.
