Research in the Section of Crop Physiology of specialty Crops (340 f) as part of the Institute of Crop Science at the University of Hohenheim is focused on crop manipulation, flower and fruit physiology and development of various species cultured in temperate, subtropical or tropical regions.

Our research group has professional expertise in plant responses to environmental cues; carbon acquisition, carbon partitioning, and dry matter production of pipfruit; physiological and chemical effects on fruit growth and development; regulation of flowering and fruit set; hormone physiology; molecular biology; tree fruit management and training systems.
