Research laboratory technician (m/f/d)
Tacalyx is a biopharmaceutical company developing innovative therapeutics to target tumorassociated carbohydrate antigens (TACAs). To strengthen our team in Berlin-Adlershof, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated laboratory technician. The major focus of this position is to assist in everyday laboratory work using a broad spectrum of biological and analytical techniques.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Involvement in the development of cell-based assays
- Conduction of a broad range of antibody assays, e.g., ELISA, WB, FACS.
- Mammalian and bacterial cell culture, and cell sample preparation
- Protein, DNA, and RNA isolation
- Molecular cloning and purification of vectors
- Maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure and equipment
- Preparation of buffers and culture media
Essential background and skills:
- Successfully completed training as a TA, BTLA, MTA or comparable qualification
- Experience in cell culture and flow cytometry is a must
- Experience with protein expression/purification as well as antibody characterization is a plus
- Previous experience with cell- and protein-based assays (e.g., ELISA, WB, viability/cytotoxicity assays, etc.) is a strong plus
- Advanced knowledge in the field of immunology and cell biology is a plus
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- High motivation to learn and develop new, cutting-edge technologies
- EU visa and/or working permit is mandatory
