Sales Talent with a Protein Science Background (m/f/d)
Activities and responsibilities
- Building customer relationships by understanding both short-term and long-term needs/ goals to best position Cube Biotech‘s products
- Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts
- Be the point of contact for our product customers and provide scientific support for inquiries via email, chat and phone
- Achieve sales targets through application of consultative selling methods
- Work closely with the full Commercial Team to ensure we provide a coordinated approach to customers and promote all the solutions Cube Biotech can provide.
- Customer visits will include approx. 10-20% of working time
- Ensure that customers understand the value proposition, features & benefits, competitive advantages, and applications of all relevant products
- Be in contact with the people in the lab to discuss scientific questions from our customers
- Research on customer-specific topics, mainly in the field of „membrane proteins “
- Represent Cube Biotech at trade fairs (internationally)
Qualification profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in a science related field required
- Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of sales experience in the Life Science tools space and with 2+ years selling in related market and space.
- Understanding of customer workflows and the applications supported in research, development, and production of pharmaceutical drugs and biologics
- Broad understanding of a variety of scientific techniques and research areas of interest (e.g., Affinity Chromatography, Membrane Protein Stabilization/Solubilization; Cryo-EM; Biophysical characterization methods like MST, SPR, AS-MS, BLI)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on understanding buyer needs and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Ability to map key accounts, identify business potential, and execute territory business plans.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint and HubSpot a plus
- Capable and interested in working in a team environment
- Highly motivated, independent, with a strong desire to succeed.
