
Director QC Raw Materials (m/w/d)
Activities and responsibilities
- Functional leadership of QC-teams from several sites for raw material testing in a GMP environment
- Implementation and maintenance of state of the art concept for raw material testing, including the involvement in “make or buy decisions”
- Development, evaluation, optimization of strategic, tactical and operational concepts for raw material testing for a broad panel of modalities (proteins, mRNA, C>) and project phases (clinical and commercial)
- Stakeholder management of internal departments, authorities as well as external partners
- Development, review and maintenance of QC-relevant processes in the overarching network of sites
Qualification profile
- University degree in a scientific/life-science-related field, PhD desirable
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in QC (raw material testing) within the pharmaceutical industry
- Profound experience in CMC development, including commercialization
- Solid analytical background with incoming goods testing
- Previous experience in a leadership function (ideally globally)
- Strong communication as well as (self-)organizing skills
