We have been an independent service provider for the agrochemical, industrial chemical and pharmaceutical industry since 1996, and now have over 450 employees at sites in the EU, Asia and the USA. As an industrial service provider with an international focus, we offer comprehensive advice on the registration of agrochemicals, biocides, industrial chemicals, veterinary pharmaceuticals, medical devices and biotechnological pharmaceuticals.
To support our team we are currently seeking for an
       Environmental Scientist/Modeller Agrochemicals (m/f)
       Ref. No. 2014-39/JV
Role and Responsibilities
  • Predict the fate and behaviour of agrochemicals in the environment
  • Evaluate environmental fate studies
  • Use simulation models to calculate environmental concentrations of agrochemicals
  • Develop risk assessment solutions for our clients, including higher-tier approaches
  • Report results in compliance with registration requirements for agrochemicals
  • Prepare assessment reports and dossiers
  • Build-up, maintain and share practical knowledge in a growing, strongly team-oriented working group
  • Represent the working group and company at conferences and workshops
Profile and Qualifications
  • University degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Science or similar
  • PhD or comparable qualification would be an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience in exposure computer modelling and risk assessment for chemicals would be an asset
  • Project management experience
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Highly result- and customer-oriented working style
  • Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent language skills in English and German (spoken and written)
