Molecular Partners AG is a thriving and steadily growing clinical stage biotech company located in Zurich, Switzerland. The development of a broad portfolio of therapeutic product candidates in oncology and ophthalmology based on our proprietary DARPin platform allowed a successful listing of the company on the SIX Swiss Exchange (MOLN). Next to our own proprietary pipeline of drug candidates we have entered into collaborations with international pharmaceutical companies, including Allergan and Janssen.
To further support our development portfolio, we are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Development Project Leader to join our Operations department.
This diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
  • Leadership of projects from late research into preclinical and clinical development championing the project vision throughout
  • Generate plans, proposals and timelines to allow clear direction of the project and enable alignment of resources accurately
  • Lead the project team and coordinate activities to achieve the project goals
  • Make data driven decisions and report the project progress to senior management and defend the project through review processes
  • Collaborate effectively with key opinion leaders, clinicians, external companies and regulatory agencies as appropriate
  • Write reports for diverse audiences to engage and educate others in the project vision, objectives and achievements
For this challenging position, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a degree in biology or a related discipline and a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in preclinical and clinical development. Our preferred candidate should also possess:
  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of biologics drug development i.e. research, non­clinical, clinical, CMC, regulatory affairs and commercial
  • A proven track record of bringing molecules from research to the clinics
  • Strong experience in project leadership obtained through participation in cross-functional, matrix teams with a proven track record of success
  • High degree of interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with partners and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Experience with antibody and/or protein therapeutics
  • Fluency in English
