Bioinformatics Scientist (m/f)

  • We are looking for a scientist focusing on analysis and interpretation of large scale proteomics data. The successful candidate will work in an interdisciplinary environment containing computer scientists, bioinformaticians, biochemists and biologists.
  • Key areas of responsibility include: providing expertise in large scale data analysis, data integration and computational biology.
  • The position is limited to 2 years.
  • PhD in life sciences with a strong background in bioinformatics and/or statistics.
  • Experience in large scale ‘omics’ analysis including proteomics, metabolomics and NGS data and proficiency in a statistical programming language are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English.
