Senior Marketing Manager

Role Summary
Coordinate and lead the sales and marketing effort for Invivoscribe’s reagent portfolio through distributors and direct accounts both tactically and strategically to support the company’s long term growth objectives.    This postion is Invivoscribe, based in LabPMM's Munich office in Germany.

Role Description: 
  • Act as the primary business driver for the company’s reagent portfolio in Europe by identifying, developing, and executing strategic key growth initiatives as a member of a global commercial team in Sales and Marketing.
  • Drive business expansion both directly in select key accounts and through distribution channels to achieve saturation, support market requirements, and drive sales to reach or surpass sales milestones.
  • Coordinate all marketing campaigns related to patent enforcement of the laboratory’s proprietary testing portfolio with Invivoscribe’s distribution management objectives.
  • Take the lead in developing customized marketing strategies and tactics to support business objectives on a country by country basis.
  • Regularly conduct market reviews to identify new commercial opportunities, any local business requirements, and the presence of barriers or risks.
  • Prioritize the addressable business opportunity and coordinate the development of commercial plans to capture the targeted business.
  • Keep existing marketing programs current with changes in the marketplace.
  • Provide accurate and timely revenue, profitability, and reagent volume forecasts.
  • Develop and implement a broad-based educational campaign to support expansion of the Invivoscribe brand awareness in the marketplace.
  • Assist in developing a strategic roadmap for new technologies for possible integration into the reagent portfolio.
  • Manage, lead, and inspire junior sales and marketing members in the European commercial team to successfully execute their activities.
  • Work in an international cross-functional team, responsible for the lifecycle maintenance of the commercial strategy and new product introductions.
  • Ph.D. or Masters with 2-3 years of experience in Molecular Diagnostics or Hematopathology.
  • 3-5 years of biotechnology commercial experience with sales and marketing focus. Experience in the sales and registration of regulated medical devices and reagents (e.g., CE-IVD products) is preferred.
  • Proven track record of demonstrated capability in a broad range of areas including, but not limited to, marketing, strategic planning, market research, business development; financial analysis and sales.
  • Proficiency with verbal and written communication in both English and German are required.
  • French, Spanish, or Italian language skills would be a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, strategic, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong and proven leadership capabilities, particularly in influencing and motivating teams to achieve group goals.
  • Ability to work independently and in concert with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
