The Pro-Futura Research group "Translational Neuroimmunology" headed by Prof. Dr. Martin Weber, has an opening for a PhD student for two years.

The project that the candidate will be involved in is funded for five years and aims to characterize the role of antigen presentation in pathogenesis and regulation of central  nervous system autoimmune disease. The applicant should have a degree in biology, immunology, neuroscience or a related discipline. Experience in animal models of human disease, cell biology as well as molecular biology are desirable but not mandatory.
The candidate will work as part of a group with profound expertise in the murine model of multiple sclerosis (MS), experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). All required models, techniques and reagents are established and readily available.
