Junior Application Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Integrated into our European LC/MS Applications Support Team you will be responsible for providing high-quality application training to our customers in Central Europe (D/A/CH), ensuring the successful application of our mass spectrometry product range.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain practical and technical knowledge for the efficient application support of customers.
  • Provide post-Sales Support, in-house and on-site trainings, customer visits and telephone support in a timely and professional manner. Preparation & delivery of efficient and successful customer training. Provide follow-up support to customers regarding training needs to maintain the customer relationship.
  • Liaise with European and Global Network to solve customer problems quickly and efficiently. Provide feedback on technical problems.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Academic degree Bachelor/Master of Science in Chemistry, Life Science or equivalent.
  • High degree of technical competence & confidence and ability to interface with the scientific community at all levels.
  • Prior working knowledge of mass spectrometry itself and related analytical techniques like ESI-LC-MS/MS, TripleQuadrupole/QTRAP or high-resolution hybrid MS systems.
  • Willingness to travel (internationally).
  • Good verbal and written English and German is essential.
  • Any other languages known is beneficial.

  • Driving license B
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills both written and verbal
