To support the sustaining expansion both locally and internationally, we are looking for a "Senior Process Technology & Implementation Engineer (m/f)" who will manage process optimization projects as well as a team of two process scientists.

The role will be based in the German headquarter in Northern Germany (Lower Saxony/Greater Hannover Area).

Area of responsibility
  • Manage the team "Process Technology"consisting of two process scientist
  • Lead large strategic, capital expenditure projects involving multiple departments, installations and new processes
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate and analyze future manufacturing requirements and potentials
  • Implementation of new and continuous improvement of established production processes
  • Manage multi-functional teams for process projects
  • Serve as technical expert in one or more production areas
  • Cooperate closely with operators and supervisors for optimization of equipment and products including troubleshooting
  • Contribute in innovation panels

Job specification
  • Degree in a scientific discipline such as micro or food science/food chemistry or equivalent
  • Ideally at least ten years in food manufacturing environment
  • Competence to read and interpret flow diagrams and identify potential improvements
  • Understanding design of experiment models in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Ability to produce instructions, policies and documentation with scientific accuracy
  • Ability to tailor and present technical information to audiences
  • Advanced knowledge in SAP and LIMS
  • Both proven people and project management skills (preferably PMP designation)
  • Process knowledge of LEAN and/or SixSigma principles (Green Belt or higher)
  • Fluent command of both English and German
