PhD Student (f/m) - Immunology/Hepatology

Our Research group (Dr. A. Kremer) seeks applicants for a PhD position with background in immunology, hepatology and cell biology with emphasis on autoimmune liver diseases. This project is a cooperation with the university hospital Eppendorf-Hamburg. Methods used in the project include molecular biological assays, culture of cell lines and primary cells (T-cells), immunological assays and flow cytometry.

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who enjoys working in an excellent research environment and is motivated to take an active role in the development of the newly established research group. The position includes travels to our cooperation partner in Hamburg. Independent execution of experiments such as cloning, isolation of cells, cell culture of primary cell, flow cytometry and cell sorting is expected. Good communication skills and fluency in English are required.

 We offer an excellent scientific and interdisciplinary environment, multiple educational opportunities and a young research team. Position is open from December 1st.
