The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) 303 “Pemphigoid Diseases – Molecular Pathways and their therapeutic Potential” (Speaker: Prof. D. Zillikens; Coordinator: Prof. C. Sadik) is a newly established DFG-funded research cluster at the University of Lübeck. The CRU consists of a multidisciplinary consortium of high-profile investigators dedicated to elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving the effector phase of pemphigoid diseases, as a prototypical example for autoantibodymediated, organ-specific diseases. Postdoc (TV-L E13) in Intravital Imaging,
optimally starting April 1st, 2016. The postdoc will support elucidating the mechanism of effector cell recruitment in autoantibody-induced skin inflammation. For this effort, a multiphotonmicroscope is available in the groupand models for skin imaging are established. The imaging is part of a collaborative CRU project of Prof. Peter König (Dept. of Anatomy) and Prof. Christian Sadik (Dept. of Dermatology).
Requirements for the applicants are
A PhD degree
Experience in intravital imaging
A strong interest in translational immunology
Strong publication record
Fluency in English
High-quality research in the dynamic and international environment of the CRU 303 within the University of Lübeck and the Excellence Cluster Inflammation-at-Interfaces.
Access to unique mouse models of skin inflammation and imaging technology
A long-term perspective as postdoc
