Mitochondrial Quality Control in Health and Disease Research Group (Head: Prof. Dr. Chris Meisinger)

at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Cluster of Excellence in Biological Signalling Studies (BIOSS), University of Freiburg, Germany is seeking for highly motivated


interested in the role of mitochondrial quality control mechanisms in health and disease. We are an international team with a highly attractive and well- equipped laboratory.
Applicants should have a strong background in Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Experimental work will include model organisms like yeast and mice but also patient samples from various neurodegenerative diseases and cancer.
