The laboratory of Prof. Jürgen Ruland at the university hospital Rechts der Isar of Technische Universität München, is offering a position for a Postdoctoral Fellow. Our research is focused on the investigation of signal transduction pathways that control innate immune responses and their contribution to inflammatory and neoplastic diseases (Roth et al., Nat Immunol. 2014, Neumann et al., Immunity 2014, Strasser et al., Immunity 2012, Poeck et al., Nature Immunol. 2010, Gross et al., Nature 2009). To this end, we are using a wide variety of molecular, cellular, immunological and transgenic techniques in a highly motivating environment.
The international research group is supported by an ERC Advanced Grant and well embedded in the Munich biomedical research community. Applicants should have a MD or PhD or equivalent doctoral degree with at least 3 years of proven research experience in molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry. Prior experience with in vivo technologies is advantageous. The ideal candidate has a strong publication record, is able to provide evidence of the ability to work in a team and be experienced in the supervision of graduate students or master students.
Payment is according to tarif (TV-L).
