Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Neuroscience of Aging

The laboratory  Molecular Neuroscience at the Department Neuropathology, Heinrich Heine University of Duesseldorf (Prof. Dr. C. Korth) invites applications for a position as postdoctoral fellow open immediately.

The project investigates pathological cell metabolism and protein pathology in brain aging, and aims to identify cellular and molecular circuitry involved in neuronal aging as a pharmacological target. The project has a focus on biochemistry, proteomics and metabolomics, as well as building novel cell models.
The project is embedded in collaborations with national and international scientists. Prior knowledge and skills in molecular biology and protein biochemistry are welcome. The position is for two years, with possibility of extension.
