Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f)
in Plant Molecular Biology

starting June 1, 2016 with a weekly working time of 39.83 hours (100% position) to study light signal transduction in Arabidopsis. The salary is based on the German TVL-13 scale if terms and conditions under collective bargaining law are fulfilled. The initial contract is limited for three years.
Our lab investigates light-control of plant growth and development, placing particular emphasis on the role of protein ubiquitination in seedling development, leaf development and the induction of flowering. Our lab is located at the new Biocenter on the University of Cologne campus. The successful candidate will join a stimulating research environment with more than 300 scientists working in plant sciences in the Cologne/Düsseldorf area. He/she will have access to additional training in soft and career-relevant skills. For further information on the project please contact Ute Hoecker.
Qualifications: Applicants are expected to have a successful track record, to be enthusiastic and highly motivated and to have a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or developmental biology of plants. Good written and spoken communication skills in English are required.
