In the past, we identified and characterized many proteins involved in these processes such as the TREX complex. The aim of the offered predoc project is to elucidate, how an mRNP is formed co-transcriptionally.
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated student with a Master’s degree (or equivalent). Experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and genetics is desirable.
Our lab offers a multitude of interdisciplinary techniques including systems biology approaches, interesting biological questions and a stimulating, interactive work environment.
