The laboratory  Molecular Neuroscience at the Department Neuropathology, Heinrich Heine University of Duesseldorf (Prof. Dr. C. Korth) invites applications for a Ph. D. student position open immediately.

The project investigates pathological cell metabolism and protein pathology in brain aging, and aims to identify cellular and molecular circuitry involved in neuronal aging as a pharmacological target.
The project is embedded in collaborations with national and international scientists. Prior knowledge and skills in molecular biology and protein biochemistry are welcome. The position is for three years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, open-minded and highly motivated individual with fluency in written and spoken English, an open mind for new approaches and a lot of team spirit.
