is available for 3 years at the
Institute for Systemic Inflammation Research (ISEF), University of Lübeck.
The position is part of the Clinical Research Unit (CRU) 303 “Pemphigoid Diseases – Molecular Pathways and their therapeutic Potential” (Speaker: Prof. D. Zillikens; Coordinator: Prof. C. Sadik), a newly established DFG-funded research cluster at the University of Lübeck. The CRU consists of a multidisciplinary consortium of high-profile investigators dedicated to elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving the effector phase of pemphigoid diseases, as a prototypical example for autoantibody-mediated, organ-specific diseases. Herein, the CRU applies a comprehensive research approach including preclinical models of pemphigoid diseases as well as human studies.
In this context, the ISEF is searching for a PhD student experienced in biochemistry and molecular biology and interested in Immunology (project leader Prof. Rudolf Manz.) The project analyses the role of lymphocytes in the effector phase of Pemphigoid Diseases.
