Purpose of the position:
- Carry out his/her PhD project entitled “A fiber-deprived diet led susceptibility to gastrointestinal infections: a case-in-point with the mucosal pathogen Citrobacter rodentium” (funding: Luxembourg Research Fund, C15/BM/10318186)
- Participate in an exciting and internationally competitive research program at the newly-formed research group ‘microbiome and ecoimmunology’ headed by Dr. Mahesh Desai, with extended research visit/s at the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, USA in the laboratory of Dr. Eric C. Martens
