Topic:
“Oncogene-induced senescence as an antiproliferative mechanism and a potential trigger for premature aging in Costello syndrome”
 
Research focus:
The group of Dr. Cirstea at the CME studies various aspects of RAS signaling pathways in cancer, developmental disorders (RASopathies) and organismal aging, using various in vitro and in vivo experimental methods. The projects involve a broad range of techniques: analysis of transgenic mouse models, biochemical, cell biological and molecular biological techniques, histological methods.

Requirements/candidate profile:
·  highly motivated candidate, with a strong interest in RAS signaling
·  excellent team-working capabilities 
·  experience in molecular, biochemical and cell biological methods
·  (desired) experience in animal work and tissue processing
  •  fluent in spoken and written English

   of the federal states of Germany TV-L E13 (50%)
  • the position is initially for 1 year; after completing a PhD agreement, an extension of the contract is planned
