PhD student (m/f) in the field of molecular cancer research

A graduate student position is available immediately at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Mainfranken/University of Würzburg to study the molecular basics of tumorigenesis. The successful candidate will conduct research into the mechanisms at the interface of the ubiquitin system and transcription, which control homeostasis and restrain tumor development. The project will use state of the art technologies, including next generation sequencing, shRNA/gRNA library screening, mass spectrometry and mouse models of cancer. 
This position requires MSc degree and experience in general molecular biology techniques; experience in handling laboratory mice will be a plus. To apply, please send a personal cover letter and standard documents to popov_n@ukw.de.
