Purchasing & Logistics Associate

 
Job Summary

The position of the Purchasing & Logistics Associate will be located at our site in Göttingen to strengthen our team in purchase order, control and management of materials required for the manufacturing and quality control of ancillary products manufactured at Juno Therapeutics in Göttingen, as well as all aspects related to the storage and shipping of ancillary materials for clinical use.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Inventory record keeping and ordering of raw materials and equipment required for manufacturing and quality control
  • Assist in control and storage of incoming materials.
  • Responsible for control, filing and transfer of invoices.
  • Assist in administration of product storage.
  • In charge of national and international shipment of ancillary products manufactured at Juno Therapeutics
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with cGMP requirements. Completing training assignments to ensure the required technical skills and knowledge. 

Required Qualifications
  • Highly organized, accountable and active personality with exceptional attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a high paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
  • Experienced in merchandise management system and familiar with shipment issues.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment, with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel and Word as well as the ability and motivation to master new software programs such as merchandise management system
  • Experience with aseptic technique and other supporting lab skills would be beneficial.
  • Experience to work in an GMP regulated environment is an asset.

Education Requirements
  • Technical assistant or bachelor degree in biochemistry, biology, pharmaceutics and/or economic´s or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Job experience or training in logistics.
