Area of Responsibility

  • Development and validation of analytical methods for stability, release and manufacturing process control of recombinant therapeutic proteins (biosimilars) – methods: e.g. HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, CCIT and pharmacopeia methods, CCIT, HPLC and capillary electrophoresis
  • Evaluation and presentation of study results using statistical tools (e.g. equivalence testing, analysis of covariance)
  • Be part of project teams
  • Manage analytical method transfers to internal and external partners
  • Support filing processes to health authorities
  • Support deviation investigations and tracking of compliance activities
  • Evaluation of new analytical technologies
  • Supervision of temporarily assigned personnel


  • Education: Master in biochemistry, biotechnology, biophysics, chemistry, pharmacy or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience in (pharmaceutical) industry or PhD
  • Languages: English / German beneficial
  • Experience: Good knowledge in instrumental analytical techniques for recombinant proteins, especially in HPLC, container closure integrity testing (CCIT) and capillary electrophoresis, as well as strategic and operational working methods; knowledge in statistical data
