Job vacancy for a senior data analyst (biostatistics / cancer biology / NGS)

TRON is expanding a multidisciplinary department with experience in biostatistics, genomics, bioinformatics, biotechnology, next-generation sequencing (NGS), immunology, and molecular biology.  We are searching for a senior data analyst (biostatistics / cancer biology / NGS) to focus on biostatistics analysis, visualization and interpretation of high throughput profiling data, including clinical NGS cohort datasets.
  • Analyze and interpret high-throughput DNA and RNA sequencing data from TRON’s high throughput profiling platforms, including  Illumina HiSeq, MiSeq and Fluidigm platforms
  • Tight interactions with genomics, molecular biology, immunology  and clinical teams
  • Apply findings in both R&D and clinical projects for biomarkers and immunotherapies
  • Demonstrated proficiency analyzing with large cancer ‘omic cohort datasets, including as NGS
  • Extensive experience with data analysis (e.g., R or Matlab)
  • Experience with pathway interpretation tools (e.g., Bioconductor, Ingenuity, GSEA)
  • Excellent data visualization and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of medical, therapeutic, and biological cancer processes
  • Self-starter who works effectively in an agile start-up environment 
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • PhD with extensive experience in cancer systems biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, computational immunology or related field
