Research Engineer (f/m)

The research group Assimilate Allocation and NMR investigates growth processes in seeds and specific physiological features (e.g. assimilate translocation, distribution of metabolites and storage products, pattern formation) during both seed development and germination. Their aim is to elucidate mechanism controlling growth processes and seed yield in plants.

Your tasks:
• You will support our analytical capacity and develop routines for seed screening.
• You will evaluate test results.
• You prepare protocols and statistical analyses.
• You will complete general lab-related tasks.

Your qualifications and skills:
• You have a master’s degree or diploma in Bioprocess Engineering / Biotechnology or equivalent skills and experience.
• You have extensive experiences in analytical techniques and/or programming.
• You are familiar with one of the following techniques: chromatography, TD-NMR, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and/or sensor technology.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English.
