Senior IT Specialist - Laboratory & GMP Devices

Juno Therapeutics GmbH in Munich is seeking Research Associate to contribute to the development of a novel cell/gene therapy manufacturing platform. The Research Associate will be responsible for providing experimental support for the project including measuring and maintaining critical quality attributes of gene-engineered T cells. This position requires close cooperation with experts in bioengineering and medical device development.

Activities and responsibilities

Objectives of the role:

- Manage all aspects of IT support for laboratory equipment including devices in GMP environment;
- Coordinates local IT to install, configure and maintain Windows PCs.

Primary responsibilities

- Any support for PCs for controlling and monitoring all kind of lab devices, including GMP manufacturing and QC equipment.
- Implementation of new GMP devices and laboratory devices into the network with the possibility of centralized data storage with special consideration of increased security requirements.
- Liaise with other IT teams, ie LCE firewall, Security, etc.
- Ensures that the production readiness is restored asap in case of computer-related malfunctions in the GMP manufacturing and development laboratory.
- Coordinates and prioritizes tasks for local IT support (contractors).
- Co-operate with Celgene Helpdesk.

Qualification profile

Requirements:

- Training as IT Specialist for lab devices and knowledge about GMP environment;
- 3+ years experience in lab related IT support;
- Extensive experience on Microsoft Windows and Office Suite 2013 and above;
- Advanced written and spoken skills in English.
