Scientific employee (m/f) with a degree Dipl.-Ing. (Univ.)/ M. Sc. in food engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualifications

  • Development of an ultrasound-based measurement setup
  • Ultrasound signal processing
  • Development of process and system models
  • Interpretation, evaluation and presentation of results
  • Independent project work
  • University degree
  • Programming skills (e.g. Matlab, C++)
  • Process engineering skills
  • Knowledge in signal processing and modelling techniques
  • Basic knowledge of acoustic theory
  • Ability and interest in analytical, creative and interdisciplinary thinking
  • Systematic way of working and reliability
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • High amount of initiative, commitment and flexibility
  • Good handling of MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • German language skills are an advantage
We offer a part-time job (50 %). The job is done with appropriate compensation to the collective agreement for the public sector in Germany (TV-L). The possibility of dissertation (PhD) is given.
