We have been an independent service provider for the agrochemical, industrial chemical and pharmaceutical
industry since 1996, and now have over 470 employees at sites in the EU, Asia and the USA. As an industrial
service provider with an international focus, we offer comprehensive advice on the registration of agrochemicals, biocides, industrial chemicals, veterinary pharmaceuticals, medical devices and biotechnological pharmaceuticals.
 
 
To support our team we are currently seeking a
 
   Regulatory Toxicologist - Human Health Hazard and Risk Assessment (m/f)
   Ref. No. 2015-58/JV
 
 
Role and Responsibilities 
  • Preparation of human health hazard and risk assessments according to different EU regulatory frameworks (e.g. REACh, BPR, Medical devices, Cosmetics, etc…)
  • Evaluation of the toxicological characteristics of substances and input of their associated data into dossiers
  • Advanced profiling of toxicological endpoints with use of QSAR tools (e.g. OECD Toolbox, and similar)
  • Use of QSAR tools (e.g. Vega Platform, EPA T.E.S.T.) to fill the data gaps
  • Preparation of expert statements
  • Communication and close co-operation with our customers
 
 
Profile and Qualifications 
  • University degree in toxicology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine or equivalent
  • Experience with application of QSAR tools
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Toxicology
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent language skills in English and German (spoken and written); additional language skills would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a team and self-motivated
