Scientist (Chemist/Biochemist, m/f)

This position focuses on the implementation of new methods for manufacturing of Ribonucleic acid (RNA) and its characterization using analytical methods routinely used in the company according to SOPs (certified QM DIN ISO 9001:2008) such as RP-HPLC, IEX- HPLC, LC/ESI-MS, among others.
The candidate should have a degree in chemistry or biochemistry with a working experience and/or strong expertise in organic/bioorganic chemistry. An experience in the field of nucleic acid chemistry and/or analytics is an advantage. A working experience of more than three years in a department authorized to work with GMOs is preferred. Because the mission of Riboxx is to develop and market its technologies, the scientist will work in a team of biotechnologists, technicians and chemists, with a direct interaction with sales and marketing. The scientist will directly report to the CEO.
The candidate should have knowledge of working in a quality management system in regulated environments. Team management skills and communication skills are mandatory, as well as very good English and German skills (written and spoken).
