A PhD student position will be filled at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg for 3 years by next possible date. The research is part of the DFG Priority Programme „Coordination Networks: Building Blocks for Functional Systems“.
Within this project, thin films of metal hexacyanometallates will be prepared and characterized by photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemistry. The films will be doped and varied by the use of bridging ligands in order to tune their electronic properties for application in electronic devices. For the work practical and theoretical knowledge of coordination chemistry, electrochemistry and spectroscopy are necessary. Knowledge of microelectrochemistry would be an additional advantage.
Requirements are a completed MSc. (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science or related subjects with very good results. Practical and theoretical experiences in the above listed areas are of advantage.
