Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of analytical instrumentation for the analysis of volatile organic compounds. Their innovative product lines include innovative and market-leading thermal desorption (TD) instrumentation and cutting edge Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer for laboratories in industry, science and governmental institutions.
For the further expansion of their strong market position we are looking for an International Sales Specialist who would join the growing BenchTOF team. The role will involve supporting and developing of distribution and dealer network worldwide and direct sales of the TOF systems as required. There will be a high degree of autonomy for the right candidate and therefore high expectations, with extensive opportunity for travel.

Key responsibilities
  • Growth of TOF MS sales directly and through our dealer network to customers on a global basis
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and maximise the company’s business with existing customers
  • Following up on opportunities to explore sales
  • Preparation and pro-active follow-up of quotations
  • Provide regular updates of activity to sales manager and ensure that the company’s customer contact database and sales funnel (SAP) is maintained.
  • Regular travel to drive the business opportunities presented
  • Customer visits as required globally
Your background
  • A strong track record in sales in a similar environment
  • A good understanding of Mass Spectrometry techniques, application and instrumentation
  • Degree or higher level diploma in Chemistry or other relevant scientific subject
  • Articulate in both written and verbal communications.
  • Experience with key Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customers, domestic and international
  • Ability to work independently, prioritising work and managing time efficiently
  • Drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation,
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel frequently
