Application software developer C#/.NET, University Research Institute, Berlin

Team description:
In the Cognitive Neurobiology group of Humboldt University, Berlin, we develop hardware and software tools for preclinical and neuroscience research. Our projects span from controlling custom hardware and using embedded systems, up to virtual reality environments and analysis of experimental data. Our group is part of the Berlin NeuroCure (www.neurocure.de) consortium.
Job Description:
The position involves
  • development of new software
  • maintaining and adapting existing solutions for novel research directions
  • development of new features or extending software usage to new hardware configurations
Equivalent of Master’s or Diploma degree in Computer Engineering/Informatics or some equivalent specialization (e.g. Computational Neuroscience).
Extensive experience in software development with C#/.NET for desktop applications.
Knowledge of UML/State diagrams (optional). Fluent in English or German.
Controlling custom hardware; 3D Graphics / Virtual Reality; Image and video processing
