Key Account Manager, Advanced Genomics, Central Europe

Generate sales and reach or exceed quota for bioinformatics solutions from accounts within the Central European region, especially for Switzerland, Austria and Southern part of Germany
Manage Existing Bioinformatics Customer Relationships: Apply professional account management skills to improve the overall customer experience
Interact with, and coordinate resources for account development activities
Interact with clients and customers to develop and implement account specific business plans designed to grow and achieve budgets and revenue goals.
Accurately represent and forecast short-term and long-term business opportunities with utmost integrity
Analyze and communicate market trends, customer requirements, and product development opportunities
Develop in-depth product and brand knowledge and the ability to sell highly technical, complete bioinformatics solutions
Prepare activity reports, forecasts, business plans and other required materials
Minimum BSc or similar degree in bioinformatics, biology or a related field.
5+ years of sales experience with proven track record of, field sales experience in selling bioinformatics or NGS solutions preferred
Understanding of NGS systems, NGS workflows, and NGS data analysis
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in German and English, any additional European language skills will be considered a plus
Excellent customer service and project management skills
Team worker with enthusiastic attitude and solid work ethics
Ability to establish a personal relationship with decision makers and scientific leaders
Ability to interact with highly skilled scientists on all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel approx. 50% of your time
Home-office based within sales region
