Position Description

Our development team in Hilden (near Düsseldorf) creates the software that makes it happen. We combine data from medical IoT devices with our sophisticated algorithms, and process it through custom workflow management systems. We integrate results of distributed components and microservices with each other as well as our cloud based Big Data solutions and use Machine Learning for its analysis.
We are always looking for talented, motivated and likeable people who would like to join our international and truly cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to create high-quality software that matters.

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for building and documenting the software architecture.
  • Define interfaces and integration between our systems.
  • Work closely with our agile software development teams and other disciplines.
  • Ensure that the high quality standard of our software code is met.
  • Support innovation, share ideas.
  • Work in an international and interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop professional software in an agile team.

Position Requirements

  • University degree in Computer-Science or comparable work experience.
  • 1+ years working experience as a software architect (3+ years for Senior).
  • Experience in coding in Java, C# or C++.
  • Skills in Spring, RESTful (micro-)services, virtualization (e.g. Docker), TDD, Clean Code and web technologies are preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (verbal and written).
  • Practical experience in agile software development is a plus.
