Scientist Bioinformatics, Informatics, Computer Scientist as Database Developer (m/f/d)

Database Developer (m/f/d)

to join our Data Management development team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data migration/integration
  • Data maintenance and documentation
  • Database administration
  • Software and database development
  • Preparation of UMLs and visual workflows
  • User support

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in (Bio-)Informatics, computer science or comparable study program or certified job training (German Fachinformatiker level or equivalent)
  • Working experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience in programming (e.g., Perl/Python/Java/Visual Basic/C++/SQL)
  • Experience in working with biological data would be an advantage
  • Working experience with different databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) desirable
  • Working with Labware LIMS would be a nice add-on
