At TU Dresden, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Institute of Circuits and Systems, the Chair of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering is offering a position for a
 
Research Associate
(Subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)

starting at the earliest possible date for a period of 3 years within the framework of a project funded by the German Research Foundation. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).
The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. PhD).

Research work on the project "Dynamical Analysis and Modeling of Experimental Data from Nonlinear Circuit Elements".

Qualification profile

very good to good university degree in the field of electrical engineering, physics or related fields; ability and willingness for independent, conceptual work in a team; interest in practice-oriented, interdisciplinary cooperation with partners from industry; good German and English skills. Advantageous is knowledge of memristors, in particular the theory of nonlinear systems with focus on methods for analysis methods and system modeling,
