Research Fellow in High Frequency Integrated Circuit Design for scaled CMOS technology

Since June 2012, the TU Dresden is one of eleven German Universities of Excellence. This distinction confirms the potential of Germany's largest technical university. Located along the picturesque river Elbe, Dresden is a very attractive city with an impressive baroque centre. Furthermore “Silicon Saxony” in the area of Dresden is the largest microelectronic centre in Europe.
At the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Institute of Principles of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the Chair of Circuit Design and Network Theory offers a position as

The period of employment is governed by § 2 Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz–WissZeitVG). The postion offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. PhD/habilitation thesis). The major goal of the Smarture 28 project is the development of analogue circuits for integration in a Bluetooth-Low-Energy System-on-chip (SoC) in 28nm semiconductor technology.
Tasks: Theoretical investigations and design of analogue circuits and integration in an SoC; CAD-based simulation; layout, theoretical analysis and measurement of analogue circuits. You will author scientific publications and participate at project meetings and international conferences. Active involvement in project management is planned for postdocs.
