Postdoc Cardiovascular Research


  • Work as a postdoc (m/f) in a state-of-the-art pharmacology laboratory in the field of cardiovascular disease research in an international pharmaceutical company
  • Be a member of the FP7/Marie Curie Initial Training Networks (ITN) “RADical reduction of OXidative stress in cardiovascular disease (RADOX) ”
  • Plan, execute and evaluate pharmacological models for the study of cardiovascular diseases (with special emphasis on pathophysiology of oxidative stress and resulting therapeutic possibilities) for the RADOX project
  • Be part of cross-disciplinary research and collaborate with international teams and well-known research groups

  • Graduate (m/f) in natural science (biology, biochemistry, molecular biology), medical science or pharmacy with a doctoral degree
  • Proven interest in cardiovascular or oxidative stress-related research
  • Experienced in working in an international environment
  • Effective communication skills and fluent command of English proven by an English language test is mandatory, unless your first language is English or you have studied at an English-speaking university

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with an option for extension.
