PhD Student Position in the Field of Nanomedicine
 
Our group develops innovative particle-enabled approaches to address pressing clinical needs in diagnostics and drug delivery. In this project, you will synthesize, functionalize and characterize inorganic nanoparticles according to design specifications defined by clinical needs. You will demonstrate the superiority of particle-enabled concepts in a range of biomedical applications in the field of diagnostics, theranostics and drug delivery by combining theoretical and experimental considerations. You will have the opportunity to work in a very interdisciplinary, dynamic environment at the forefront of the field and in continuous exchange with relevant clinical and academic international partner institutions.

Your tasks
  • Develop independent research project in the field of nanomedicine with appropriate support from our team
  • Carry out experimental studies in the interdisciplinary field of particle-biology interactions
  • Publication of results in scientific journals and presentation of your work at international conferences
 
Your profile
  • You hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biology or related subject
  • You have passion for science and are driven by scientific curiosity, are a creative mind, and are eager to learn new things
  • Good command of English is a must
