For our customer in the healthcare industry we support to fill the position in Frankfurt a.M.:

"Senior Reliability Manager (f/m)"

This is a permanent position for the aim of expanding the company’s portfolio of drug delivery systems including mechanical, eletromechanical as well as connected systems. Our customer is looking for a senior applicant with management experience who is ready to shape their reliability engineering strategy and carry our design engineers. The position is part of the department Medical Device Design Development and Innovation Department (DDI) and is currently looking for a Senior Reliability Manager to:

Activities and responsibilities

  • Building a reliability engineering strategy to be included in our product development process
  • Planning and report reliability engineering work packages in our development projects
  • Facilitate failure analysis to ensure appropriate understanding is being achieved and corrective actions are being implemented and validated
  • Managing reports in regards of the quality/reliability status for our core technology platforms to senior management
  • Collaborate transversally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Design, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Regulatory, and other departments to align priorities, develop plans for design, material, component and process optimization
  • Development of collaborative partnerships with device project leads and key individuals within associated functional organizations

Qualification profile

  • Engineering degree in mechanical, electromechanical or related field, advanced degree preferable
  • Six Sigma, CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) or other relevant certification preferred
  • At least 6 years’ experience in reliability engineering
  • At least 3 years’ experience in supervisory role
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in Medical Device or Drug Device Combination Product industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA Design Control and associated Risk Management is preferred
  • Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Minitab, R, or other statistical software preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills & communication skills with all levels of management
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile Development processes and methodologies would be a plus
  • Good Knowledge of HALT/HASS
  • Business Standard German & English language knowledge
