Business Analyst or Scientist for Pharmaceutical Drug Safety (m/f) - Business Planning

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform regular budget and headcount planning for the global pharmacovigilance (PV) function in cooperation and alignment with all cost-center responsibles worldwide as well as the PV management
  • Perform monthly analyses of budget and headcount data and reporting of trends
  • Define, implement and maintain a consistent metric and KPI system across all PV processes in close cooperation with all PV business functions
  • Develop and continuously improve standards for forecasting of PV workload, performance calculations and resource planning
  • Create structured and regular reports and analyses for workload metrics, internal/external capacity and performance
  • Act as single point of contact (m/f) for all PV metrics to internal and external customers
  • Increase automation of metric report generation and customization for various stakeholder groups within PV
  • Contribute to external benchmarking activities in the pharmaceutical industry in close cooperation with all PV business functions
  • Act as functional expert and single point of contact (m/f) for the internal time tracking system concerning standards, users, roles and activities
  • Support audits and inspections from health authorities and partners in PV

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree, e.g. in life sciences or in business studies, with long-term relevant experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, pharmacovigilance experience preferred
  • Experience in controlling and performance management
  • Knowledge of budget- and headcount controlling processes
  • Strong experience in MS Office programs and in working with databases
  • Excellent analytical skills to detect patterns in data and derive improvement measures
  • High degree of customer orientation, creative and conceptual thinking to turn customer wishes into structured metrics and reports
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work within a global team framework and a multi-cultural environment
  • Flexibility with regards to changing demands and priorities driven by internal and external requirements
  • Fluency in English, both orally and in writing
