The Centre for Medical Biotechnology (ZMB) is an interdisciplinary scientific centre of the University of Duisburg-Essen, integrating medical research at the University Hospital and natural sciences at the Campus.

Master or Bachelor thesis in DNA origami nanotechnology
 
The ideal candidate should be a student of the study course of chemistry, physics or related natural and life sciences. She/he should be willing to work in a young research team and conduct research that covers multiple scientific disciplines embedded in the infrastructure of the ZMB. She/he should have a strong motivation in learning DNA design and single-molecule techniques, to be able to perform team-oriented as well as independent work and possess very good communication and writing skills in English.
