We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student who is interested in multidisciplinary research and wants to join our collaborative network of nanoscientists. The PhD position offers excellent research conditions and multidisciplinary education within the stimulating scientific environment of the Center for NanoScience (CeNS), and the Nanosystems Initiative Munich (NIM).

Charge transport in organic semiconductors

Project: We are looking for a dedicated student to study charge transport in organic semiconductors (small molecules and/or polymers). Using temperature dependent electrical measurements the goal is to unravel the underlying mechanisms that limit charge transport in polycrystalline and single-crystalline organic conjugated materials.

Requirements: A strong background in semiconductor physics and an excellent command of the English language are a prerequisite.

Group: Prof. Thomas Weitz, Physics Department, LMU Munich
