2. What type of information is recorded by us?
2.1 My jobvector
When you register at my jobvector, we will store your email address in order to provide you with the jobvector services (mail service, newsletter, career information and requests for contact). If you want to submit your CV to my jobvector, we will ask you to provide personal contact details and you will have the option to decide whether you want to publish documents like testimonials and certificates. The data (not public) we store for your application together with your anonymized CV are clearly marked with a box number. Your data is handled on a strictly confidential basis and will not be passed on to employers without your formal approval. Furthermore you have the possibility to unlock these data for a potential employer - only if you have expressly authorized it.
Employers have the option to read the anonymized CV and select CVs according tho their criteria, to recruit new employees. Yet the employers do not have access to your personal details (name, address, email, phone, certificates). All data you enter into fields not marked as non-public data on the CV form, are visible to employers. You should keep this in mind when you enter information on your previous or current employer as well as when filling in free text fields.
Important: Only jobvector has access to your personal data and will not pass these on to employers under any circumstances. Employers only see an anonymized version of your CV. If an employer is interested in you, he can get in touch with you via jobvector. Only after you have assigned the employer access to your personal data will the employer get to know your identity.
It goes without saying, that you can completely delete your CV.
Understandibly we cannot guarantee the confidential treatment of your data by employers. Please bear that in mind when you enter data in your anonymized CV or reveal your personal data to an employer.
jobvector only uses what is known as Session cookies to facilite easy user guidance.
2.3 Log Files and statistics
We store internet protocol addresses (IP addresses) for a limited space of time in the log files as far as this is necessary for security purposes. We create anonymous statistics to measure the number of visitors on our website (traffic) or for accounting purposes, to quantify the number of clicks we receive from our cooperation partners. We do not compile user profiles or combine profiles with information that could be related to individuals.

2.4 Using Social Plugins
On jobvector so-called social plugins can be used. The rights of the logos appearing in this respect belong to the operators of the respective platforms. When you visit a job vector page which contains such a plugin, depending on the platform operator your browser may establish a direct connection with the servers themselves. Even without your interaction with plugins, information may be provided to the operators of these platforms. This is especially the case when you are logged in to the platforms at the same time. If you interact with the plugins, information will be transmitted to the operators of the platforms.
2.5 Website optimization
On this website collected informations about the surfing behavior of Web site visitors for marketing purposes in an anonymous format and stored using the technology of Criteo GmbH. This data is stored by using so-called "cookie" text files on your computer. Criteo analyzes the surfing behavior using an own algorithm and can then display targeted product recommendations as personalized banner ads on other websites (known as publishers). Under no circumstances can this data be used to identify a visitor personally.
The collected data will only be used to increase the supply. Any other use or disclosure to third parties will not be made.

2.6. Application form
To give you the option of tracking your application's progress, we save the
applications you submit via jobvector. You can access and view the saved
applications in your account. If you do not have a jobvector account registered
to the email address you provided at the time of your application, we will
automatically create one for you.
If you attach a CV and/or a cover letter to the jobvector application, we will store these documents for you and use them to provide you with other free services, such as JobMail.
Stored application documents on jobvector are treated confidentially and not passed on to third parties.
3. Illegal content
You alone are responsible for the content you have published with us or the texts you have sent us. Please make sure you do not send us attachments containing viruses or worms. Personal data you submit to jobvector in general should not contain any of the following: Information about diseases, unless these are relevant for the particular job (except in case of infectious diseases), information about pregnancy, information about ethnic origin, religious or philosophical creed, membership in a trade union, sexual orientation, villainizing or degrading information, information that does not have a clear connection to the job specification. The information you send us must be genuine and must not infringe upon the rights of a third party, violate public regulations or offend morality ("Illegal content"). Please note that you undertake to indemnify us against all claims made against us as a consequence of your failure to prevent illegal content appearing in any information you provide.
4. To whom will your personal data be disclosed?
The anonymized CVs are accessible to jobvector customers (in general employers or recruiters) and may additionally be sent to interested customers by email or as hardcopy to increase the distribution and thereby enhance the response. The mentioned distribution does not include a disclosure of your personal data.
However, jobvector cannot prevent the use of the CV database by others than employers and recruiters.
5. Editing and deleting your CV data
If you want to edit or delete your data or CV in the application database simply login to my jobvector and use the according functions. Deleting deposited CVs can be done in my jobvector. If you want us to delete your CV or personal data, we will be happy to assist you. Likewise we will inform you about your personal password in case you lose it.
jobvector shall be entitled to discontinue these services or delete your data partially or completely without notice at any time. A claim for publication of your data is not recognized. Additionally we will delete your data when it has not been updated over a longer period of time. We will inform you thereof beforehand via email.
6. Data security
We make provisions for the security of your data and to prevent external misuse. This includes measures like encryption (SSL encryption), firewalls, software for the prevention of hacking and manual security precautions. SSL encryption is active when the key symbol is displayed at the bottom of your browser and the address starts with "https://". Data transfer is then secured via a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) with 128 bit encryption that prevents any third party from illegally reading your data. When the encryption is not active, you should closely consider whether you want to send sensitive information via the internet.
We only store the personal data you have entered in my jobvector. No additional personal data is stored.
Please note, that it is not allowed to use the internet for private purposes from your workplace or during working hours. Some employers monitor illicit internet activity. Be aware that there is always a risk of undesired access, when you are connected to a network.
7. Malfunction of the service, discontinuation or alteration of the service or deletion of data
jobvector does not guarantee that the service will be available at certain times. jobvector does not exclude malfunctions, interruptions or a possible breakdown of the online service. The servers of jobvector are backed up regularly and diligently. As far as data is transmitted, no matter by which means, to jobvector, we recommend you make a backup. jobvector reserves the right to delete a published record at any time without giving reasons. The customer is not entitled to claim a publication. jobvector reserves the right to alter, extend, limit or discontinue this service at any time. A liability of jobvector for deleted data or loss of data is therefore excluded.

9. Publications of alterations
